Fast growing tree for erosion control or shelter belts. Reaches approximately 16m in just 10 years. Excellent root system for general soil conservation.

It features an upright, tidy growth habit with a straight central trunk and a narrow crown. Because its branches grow upward at steep angles, it does not develop the heavy, brittle lower limbs.

Highly suited to moist, inland planting sites.

Leafs up earlier in spring than most other poplars- great for providing speedy shade and shelter for livestock.

Disease Resistant, Built-in immunity to leaf rusts and leaf anthracnose.Low palatability to possums prevents canopy damage.
